Latest Racket Technology and Construction, Graphite Tungsten
Rafa Nadal's tennis racket, the Aeropro Drive, now uses GT Technology. Graphite/Tungsten fibres are spread throughout the frame producing more stability and better precision.
The Cortex System technology, situated between the handle and the string bed, filters unnecessary vibrations resulting in better feel of the ball.
Cortex Technology
The Cortex reduces vibrations caused when the ball impacts the strings. It filters out such unnecessary and useless vibrations to ensure optimum playing conditions.
Woofer Technology
Woofer is simply a more effectively shaped grommet. Instead of the grommet being flat and flush to the frame, it is actually arched and curved. This makes the frame and the strings interact more when the ball impacts the racket as the strings have a great ability to move as they’re not pulled tight against the rackuet. This leads to an improved ‘trampoline effect’ on the strings, providing 25% more contact time between the ball and the strings on impact.
GT Technology
GT stands for Graphite Tungsten. Babolat have discovered that by layering a sheet of Graphite and then a sheet of tungsten and so on and so forth it increases the rigidity of the frame resulting in twice the stability of standard carbon.
Aero Modular Design
With a more aero-dynamic shaped frame offering a greater speed through the air to help the user generate more power and spin.
