Babolat Aeropro Team Cortex GT Tennis Racket
The aero Team
takes on a new identity and a slightly lighter weight of 275g. Perfect for a
developing or performance junior player looking for all the attributes of the
aero pro drive at a slightly lighter weight with a more even balance.
Cortex Technology
The cortex provides a relief to
players from the vibrations caused when the ball impacts the strings. It
filters out such unnecessary and useless vibrations to ensure optimum playing
conditions.
Woofer Technology
Woofer is simply a more effectively
shaped grommet. Instead of the grommet being flat and flush to the frame, it is
actually arched and curved. This makes the frame and the strings interact more
when the ball impacts the racquet as the strings have a great ability to move
as they are not pulled tight against the racquet. This leads to an improved
trampoline effect of the strings, providing 25% more contact time between the
ball and the strings on impact.
GT Technology
GT stands for Graphite Tungsten. When
a racquet is made imagine sheets of material laid on top of each other and then
folded into a mold. Babolat have discovered that by layering a sheet of
Graphite and then a sheet of tungsten and so on and so forth it increases the
rigidity of the frame. This make up offers twice the stability of standard
carbon. The concentration of tungsten fibers is different according to the
racquet family.
Aero Modular Design
A more aero-dynamic shaped frame has definitely moved with the new modern game. Offering a greater speed through the air to help the user generate more power and spin.
