Ordering
- Is the product in stock?
If you are looking for something particular that you can’t see on our website or is currently showing as out of stock, please email us or call us and we will try to order it for you. Special orders may be subject to additional delivery times/costs but we will be able to advise you of these.

- Do I have to pay in sterling?
PDHSports
only trades in £ sterling.
- Can I pre-order a product before it comes out?
Products
are available on pre-order from time to time e.g. new release rackets. If a
product is available on pre-order this will be clearly indicated in the product
description.We will also give an
indication of the approximate delivery date.
- Have you received my order as I haven't received a confirmation?
Please
contact one of our team via headoffice@pdhsports.com and we will check whether
your order has been successfully processed.
- I live in a VAT exempt area - will VAT be removed?
If
you live in a VAT exempt region then VAT will be removed automatically.
- Do all your rackets come pre-strung?
Yes, unless stated otherwise on
our website. A number of the leading tennis rackets now come as ‘frame only’
(unstrung), but we do provide a professional restringing service (see below).
- Do you restring rackets?
Yes, we can restring squash,
tennis, badminton and racketball rackets to your requirements. We use a Babolat
Sensor electronic restringing machine and all restrings are undertaken by our
racket experts. We can obtain most strings even if they are not shown on our
website as being held in stock. We are happy to give advice on the most
appropriate string and string tension for your style and level of play.

- Do all your rackets come with a head cover?
Yes, unless stated otherwise on
our website.
- How do I know which tennis racket grip size to choose?
Grip
sizes are measured using numbers 1-5. We also specify the grip sizes
using the American method (ie the number 4, followed by a fraction). This
is the actual measurement around the base of the handle in inches.
The grip sizes
convert from US sizes to UK sizes as follows with size 1 the smallest and
Grip size 5 the largest as shown below:
4 1/8 = 1
4 1/4 = 2
4 3/8 = 3
4 1/2 = 4
4 5/8 = 5
Delivery & Shipping
- How can I track my order?
We will send you an email once your order has been received and also once it has been despatched from our warehouse. PDH Sports uses a timed delivery service for the majority of our UK mainland orders. The service provides customers with a precise one hour window in which their goods will be delivered by our courier DPD.
On the day of delivery you receive an email and SMS text message which informs you of your one hour delivery slot providing that you have given an email address/mobile telephone number when placing your order/registering with us.
Please note that PDH Sports uses this service for the majority of our UK mainland deliveries. Sundry and smaller items will be sent by Royal Mail.
International orders are also sent via a tracked service by either DPD or Royal Mail depending on the destination. Please email headoffice@pdhsports.com if you would like a tracking reference for an international order.
- What are your delivery charges?
We offer various different delivery options. See the Shipping and Delivery section of our website for full details.
- Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes we ship internationally every day. See the Shipping and Delivery section of our website for a comprehensive list of countries and charges.
Please note: PDHSports sells all items on a DDU (Delivery Duty unpaid) basis. Additional taxes, fees or duties may be payable according to local regulations.
Customers outside the European Union may have to pay import duty or formal customs entry. If customs duties or are required, the delivery may be delayed and we are sorry but PDHSports cannot assist with this process.
To help ensure that customs duties are not payable for deliveries outside the EU, it is advisable to keep your total order value below the customs duty threshold of your destination country. Please check your local thresholds and duties before placing your order with us as we are not responsible for any additional duties payable in the destination country.
- When will my goods leave?
We
aim to despatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving the order (except for
weekends and public holidays)
- Will my parcel need a signature?
Most
items will require a signature on delivery. If you are at work during the day
we recommend that you select your place of work as the delivery address.
- What happens if I can't be home at the time of delivery?
If you are not available when the courier attempts to deliver
they will leave a card through your door with instructions on how to rearrange
delivery. We strongly recommend however that you use a delivery address where
there will be someone available to sign for the goods, such as a work address,
friend or relative. This will help to ensure that you receive your order as
promptly as possible.
- Can I collect my order from you directly?
You
are welcome to collect items from our Duffield showroom. As the PDHSports team work hard to despatch
all items extremely promptly (some items leave
our warehouse within a few minutes of us receiving the order!) we
need to know in advance if you intend to collect the item in person so please
give us a call.
- Can I specify a delivery time?
PDH Sports has recently launched a new timed delivery service for the majority of our UK mainland orders. The service provides customers with a precise one hour window in which their goods will be delivered by our courier DPD.
On the day of delivery you receive an email and SMS text message which informs you of your one hour delivery slot providing that you have given an email address/mobile telephone number when placing your order/registering with us.
You can control the delivery so if you are not going to be at home and won't be in to sign for the package, simply text back and arrange for your products to be delivered on a more convenient date. To use the email and text service you will need to provide your email address and mobile number when registering/ordering via our website.
Please note that PDH Sports uses this service for the majority of our UK mainland deliveries. Sundry and smaller items will be sent by Royal Mail 'first class signed for' and a card will be left if you are not at home to receive your order.
- Do you offer next day delivery?
Yes, we do. Orders need to be placed by 2:00pm (Monday-Thursday) although we always try to provide this service on any orders coming in after this time if at all possible, but you will need to call us in advance to arrange this.
Please note that service restrictions apply to certain postcodes. These restrictions are shown in the Shipping and Delivery section of our website.
Returns & Faulty Goods
- What is your returns policy?
All returns should be sent to pdhsports.com – returns department, Derwentside, 25 Town Street, Duffield, Derbyshire, DE56 4EH. Please include your full contact details and reason for the return. Further details of our returns policy can be found by clicking here.
- Will you pay for the postage to return products?
We are only able to
offer a full refund if the original grip wrapping is still in place. The cost
of returning the item to us is your responsibility and we will refund you, less
postage costs.
If in the unlikely event that an item
is faulty or has been sent in error we will also refund your postage. Please
return all items by first class signed for mail rather than more expensive
special delivery or upgraded courier services as we are usually
only able to refund postage up to our standard delivery charges.
