Dunlop has been one of the most successful sports brands of the 20th century and was used by squash legends such as the great Geoff Hunt and Jonah Barrington.
Dunlop sponsor many of the world’s top tennis players Fernando Verdasco, Nikolay Davydenko and Dominika Cibulkova. They also sponsor more top ten squash players than any other racket sports brand including Nick Matthew, Ramy Ashour, Lee Beachill, Amr Shabana, Alison Waters and Sarah Kippax.
In 2010 Dunlop introduced Biomimetic technology to their products. The Biomimetic range is drawn from nature, taking inspiration from sharks, bees and geckos.
Dunlop’s latest Aeroskin technology is applied to the surface of Biomimetic rackets. Like shark skin, it features tiny riblets that reduce aerodynamic drag by up to 25 percent, increasing racket head speed and power.
HM6 Carbon, a compound based on the super-strong hexagonal honeycomb structure of the beehive, has been layered between Dunlop's existing AeroGel carbon composite in order to reduce vibration by up to 10 percent.
Gecko-Tac, Dunlop's new grip surface treatment is inspired by the sticky pads found on a gecko's feet. The manufacturers claim that it provides 50 percent more grip than previous Dunlop grips.
Dunlop Squash balls are the Official Ball of the PSA, WSF, WISPA, Squash Australia, Squash New Zealand and the only squash ball used in all international professional competitions.
PDHSports are authorised stockists of all Dunlop products. We are one of the UK’s first and exclusive stockists of Dunlop Biomimetic Racketball.
