This is the 2011 version of the Carboflex 130 Basaltex. The only differences between this and the 2012 model are the paint colour and the fact that this 2011 Basaltex racket does not have the latest multiaxial construction.

The Carboflex 130 Basaltex is one of our bestselling squash rackets, hence we will be continuing to sell this version alongside the new release Tecnifibre rackets.

The 130 weight provides more manoeuvrability over the 140. This racket also comes pre strung in Tecnifibre X-One biphase string which adds to the performance of the racket and makes it even better value for money.

Fitted with Tecnifibre Absolute squash grip.

Also comes with 3/4 racket cover.

PDH opinion "One of our bestselling squash rackets for the last season now reduced in price. A great choice for good to advanced players looking for a powerful, fast and responsive racket. The fact that it is pre-strung with high quality Tecnifibre strings gives added value"

I bought this racket a month or two ago. I phoned up Paul from PDH Sports and asking him for a recommendation on a racket in the £50 to £65 price range. He recommended this racket (the Tecnifibre Carboflex 130 Basaltex Squash Racket) to me as an exceptional racket that offers a great value for money and comes pre-strung with top of the range strings. Soon after this phone call with Paul, I had placed my order from the online shop on a Friday and it arrived the following Monday (which is very quick service!). I have been playing with this racket for, about, 1 to 3 times a week on court. Overall the racket is very solid, providing a lot of power and great control. Going a bit more in depth, the racket itself is very light (130 grams, which, going from playing with 170 gram rackets, was very noticeable) and has an even balance, which took getting used to as I had played with head light rackets. As a result of this even balance, I found that my weight of stroke and drives improved dramatically. I could also feel the ball a lot more and with it being a teardrop shaped head, felt the sheer power of the racket with not as nearly as much effort as with previous rackets, so getting the ball to the back of the court was no problem! With regards to the strings and the touch, the X-One Biphase strings in the racket felt really great and I now understand why they are at the top of Tecnifibre’s string range. When I first got on court, I remember hitting a few drop shots with the racket and instantly noticed how much I could feel the ball on the strings. In game, my control improved considerably and players in my club noticed this too. The balance coupled with the excellent strings gave me a great amount of feel overall. Unfortunately the strings broke quicker than anticipated (in about 1 to 2 weeks after purchase) but this was my fault as I am very heavy handed and like hitting the ball very hard (and it’s hard not to be tempted by the awesome power this racket provides, haha). I have had the racket restrung by my local coach at 28 pounds with the Tecnifibre 305+ Black strings and it is serving me well. One thing to mention about any Tecnifibre string is they are all great quality strings and will improve the control and power of any racket tenfold. Finally, one thing to mention is the durability of this racket. When my coach saw this racket, he said that he had played with this racket previously and he said that it one of the most durable rackets on the market today. I can testify to this. Being a junior who has been playing for almost a year now, I have hit the wall many times with all of my rackets and this racket was no exception. With the Tecnifibre Carboflex 130, I have hit it a bit too hard against the side walls at times but it has still held up considerably well with hardly any marks, chips, cracks or dents to the frame! So, overall, definitely a solidly built, durable racket. Overall, I give this racket 5 stars. If you want a racket that was previously used by many pros (an example being the current world number 1, Mohamed El Shorbagy), is very powerful, has great control and is very durable, I can’t recommend this racket highly enough. The only thing I will say is if you are heavy handed with the racket then the string may snap quicker than you expect, but if you are careful then I’m sure they will last a long time! I’m very tempted to get another one after writing this review! If I have sent out more than one review, then this is the most up to date one as have made a few changes to the review (minor corrections etc).

Lovely racket, I would highly recommend this to all levels. I'd played with Karakal rackets for years and decided to take the plunge with something different. This racket has a fantastic balance of power and acuteness. Found I was able to generate as much power as with my Karakal rackets but with far much more delicacy and control then I could with the Karakals. Great racket, great strings, and a brilliant price. Thanks PDH

This racket is from another world if I'd have to compare it to others in the same price range. It is light but provides plenty of power, and there's very little vibrations. Got used to the strings very fast as well and somehow the grip is as comfy as it was 5 months ago even though I use this racket 2 or 3 times a week. I have tried a few other rackets since I got this one and couldn't find one that was as manoeuvrable as this one.

Well balanced racket, pre strung strings are an added bonus as I had to upgrade to technifibre strings for my old racket. Had the racket for a year and still fine. Good buy!

I have this racket for about year and a half now, best racket i have played with and most durable, generates great power and also gives me great feeling for drop shots, it is pretty light and maneuverable and i can only agree with every review here that this is a great all round racket for any level squash player. If in doubt, trust me you can not go wrong with this racket!rn

I bought this racket after recommendations from a couple of my squash partners who also have Tecnifibre rackets. I've had many different makes in the past, Head Microgel probably being one of my favourites, but wanted to try something new. The main draw was that it would already be strung with Tecnifibre strings which obviously adds to the value.rnrnIt was considerably lighter than my previous Prince racket despite them both being 130(??) so took a bit of getting used to, but it was definitely a good buy. It has a very good balance of power and control.rnrnHowever, I have had to get it restrung after only a few weeks as the strings started to fray, which is surprising as I've not had this from Tecnifibre strings before. I have decided to replace them with Ashaway SuperNick which I've been told are not as susceptible to fraying.

Amazing Racket, Perfect Customer Service, I couldn't ask for more! The Tecnifibre Carboflex 130 is very well balanced and feels great in the hand, couple this with a light frame (130 grams) and some of the best strings on the market you get a near perfect racket. I've been using this racket for over a year now and find it's great in allmost every situation, whether it's digging the ball from the back or hitting that perfect volley drop. Would highly recommend to any level of player. Thankyou PDHsports!

in my personal opinion this is the BEST value for money racket around!rnrnthe tecnifibre carboflex130 is really awesome because it gives a lot of power, great balanced, and most important - it VERY hard to break \ crack ;)rnalso, the tecnifibre prestrung strings are really good - one of the best in the game as opposed to i.e dunlop rnrnthe racket also fits all levels. from beginners to pro'srnrni've used several racket brands durin my 16 years of play and this is my favorite!rnrnrnrn
