Salming Squash Shoes 2019

With the arrival of the new Salming Indoor shoe range, we thought we'd give you an insight to which shoe might be best suited to your style of play. The new range has 6 new models, in each in mens and womens, and also a junior model of the Hawk Court shoe. 

HAWK | Cushioning

Dominate the court with Salming's latest shoe innovation. The Hawk has a low-to-the-ground profile, but still offers the most cushioning of the Salming range, whilst also being the lightest!
The lacing system is connected to an ExoSkeleton inner cage to offer excellent support. It has a durable Hexagrip outsole, a lightweight rubber compund to provide the best possible grip on indoor sufaces. They also feature Salming's rollbar technology alling the shoe to move easily in and out of lunges, whilst the LMS+ provides stability for landing to prevent the foot and ankle rolling. This model of Hawk features the new midsole Recoil ERF (Energy Rebound Foam), which is a lightweight cushioning compond that releases rebound energy effect for explosive movements. The shoe is finished with a 3-layer upper construction for maximum breathability. As with the rest of the Salming range, it features the T.G.S. 62/75 - Torsion Guide System, which provides extra stability in the ball of the foot and greater flexibility to stimulate the foot's natural movements. The shoe comes in one colourway for the Men's and Women's
The Hawk Court is a more affordable version of the Hawk, with a take down in the level of cushioning but a great, durable shoe. 

KOBRA | Stability

The Salming Kobra is made for cushioning and stability, by using a unique combination of lightweight materials. This shoe offers the most stability from the range with higher support to the heal and upper foot areas. Similar to the Hawk shoe, the ExoSkeleton inner cage is connected to the lacing system which offers excellent support. These also feature a Hexagrip outsole, Rollbar technology and LMS+ to provide you with all the stability needed on court. As with all Salming shoes this one features T.G.S. 62/75 - Torsion Guide System. The distance from heel to the ball of the foot (62% of the shoe) has been designed with extra stability, which ends in the so-called ”ballet” line, a 75° angle. In front of the 75° line, the shoe has greater flexibility to stimulate the foot’s natural movements.
Available in two colourways in the Mens shoe (Navy Blue and Red) and one in the Womens shoe. The is also a Kobra 2 Mid shoe which is a boot design, which offers more ankle sport. 

 

VIPER | Agility

The Viper is Salming's longest running shoe - now on its 6th generation - and is great for player agility. It is a low-to-the-ground profile which puts the player in close contact to ground helping to produce fast sharp movements. The ViperSkin upper is a 3 layer, synthetic, lightweight construction that provides a snug fit for excellent support and stability. This generation of Viper includes the new RunLite 2 midsole which provides better energy return, as well as the Rollbar, LMS+ and Hexagrip which could be found on previous models. These shoes also have the T.G.S. 62/75, for extra stability and flexibility which is key to making an agile shoe. 
The Viper 5 will be availble in two colourway in both the Mens (Turquoise and White) and Womens (Pink and White) shoes.

 The Salming Eagle shoes makes up the final style in the new range, a multisport senior model suitable for indoor sports. They feature a reinforced KPU upper for durabilty and D30 midsole, a high performance shock reduction material. The shoe is built with Salmings TGS62/75 philosophy and features an arch unit for enhanced torque characteristic. The Eagle shoes come in Black for the Men and White for the Women.
