Questions and answers

Question:
Is this good from a carboflex heritage
Answer:
yes this is a good racket, the Carboflex is stiffer but the Revelation range is Dunlop's answer to the Carboflex
Question:
What restring would you recommend for this. I’m 58 and play to a reasonable standard.
Answer:
This racket comes pre strung in a good quality string from factory, unless there is a particular string you are looking for it may be worth getting some play out of the factory strings.
Question:
How would this one compare to the new sonic core revelation lite?
Answer:
This was the previous model to the Sonic Core Revelation Pro Lite which has better ball feel and vibration dampening. The Hyperfibre XT model is still a very good choice for the price.
Question:
I bought this racket as a replacement to my prince airstick 130. Although the racket is very nicely balanced, I am feeling some vibration when hitting the ball. I used to string my prince with around 24lbs tension technifibre strings. Is this vibration might be due to high tension of factory strings?
Answer:
We usually estimate factory tension to be around 23lbs tension.
Question:
Which is better for a 11 year old intermediate player, the Dunlop Force Revelation 125 Squash Racket or this one?
Answer:
Both rackets are quite similar with 125gram frame weights and a head light balance. The Dunlop Force Revelation 125 does have a slightly larger head size (500cm sq vs 490cm sq) which will offer a bigger sweet spot for easier power.
Question:
What tension is the racket strung to as sold?
Answer:
Factory string tension is around 26lbs but can vary
Question:
How does this racquet compare with the Dunlop Apex Infinity 3.0? Do you have both in stock?
Answer:
We do not stock the Apex Infinity but this Hyperfibre XT Pro Lite racket is a superior construction currently available on an exclusive deal at pdhsports.com
Question:
What exactly does 'cannot be restrung in a hybrid string' mean. Thanks.
Answer:
A Hybrid string is when you use a different string in mains and the crosses, in this case you need 4 tie off points. The way this racket is designed, there are only 2 tie off points, so unfortunately cannot be restrung in a hybrid string. The only hybrid string we off is Ashaway Oblivion Squash String.
Question:
what kind of strings are on the racket?
Answer:
This racket comes strung in Dunlop Great White squash string.
Question:
This racquet has a 15 mm beam width. Is this for an advanced player?
Answer:
A thinner beam width offers greater control, as it has the tear drop head shape helps to generate more power so it suitable for intermediate to advanced players
Question:
Being head light this one seems closer specwise to the new NM Evolution Pro. Are they similar or two completely different rackets?
Answer:
The Dunlop Hyperfibre XT Revelation Pro Lite is 5 grams heavier than the Sonic Core Evolution 120, and they Revelation range is aimed at getting more power whereas the Evolution range uses a hybrid frame shape to offer power and control.
Question:
How does the Pro Lite compare to the Cyano range for an intermediate player?
Answer:
The Pro lite racket is better suited to players wanting more performance from the racket in ways such as feel and accuracy of shot, the Cyano is so popular because of its ease of use which makes is a joy to play with.
Question:
Does this racket need a small ball damper?
Answer:
These rackets come with the ball dampener but it is up the player if they want to use it or not.
Question:
I'm after buying 2 but only 1 is in stock, any lead time on when you'll be getting more in?

The new Hyperfibre XT Revelation Pro Lite has a head light balance making ti quick around the court. Next Generation HyperfibreXT Ballistic fibres have been added all across the hoop of the racket from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock as well as at the 6 o'clock position resulting in Dunlop’s most powerful technology to date.

Aero Profile Engineering advances in the layup allow for a sharper leading edge up to 9% smaller cross section in hoop allowing the beam to cut through the air faster with more elastic power than conventional beams.

CX Max -The streamlined aerodynamic profile with concave internal cross section at the top of the hoop provides superior aerodynamics and increased main string length. This powerful fusion increases the sweet spot size and moves it closer to the tip of the racket to deliver increased elastic power enhanced by faster racket head speed for unstoppable shot speed.

Please note: this racket cannot be restrung in a hybrid string.

After many years of Technifibre, I have gone Dunlop and will not go back - best move ever. Have one of these Pro Lites and one of the Evolution Pro 120 Nick Matthews - no noticeable weight difference and both play very similar - outstanding in every respect, so stable and awesome touch. Was expecting to have to get them re-strung immediately but six months later am still using the factory strings. Get great feel out of the thicker strings, strangely.
