Questions and answers

Question:
Doesn't the hole drilled at 3 & 9 make the frame at those points weaker as all the pressure when you are hitting the ball is at that area and so is it more prone to breaking?
Answer:
We have not had any issues with the racket design to date
Question:
When do you expect new shipment 'cause the possibility to order is since weeks .....'waiting for stock'.
Answer:
This racket is due in stock approximately 26th November 2022.

Please see the International Delivery section of https://www.pdhsports.com/help/delivery
Question:
My son is 9 been playing a while with a junior racquet would this be a good for his first full size?

Question:
Hi do you ship to the USA? I reside on the east coast in Connecticut. Thank you.
Answer:
Yes we ship to USA, please see https://www.pdhsports.com/help/delivery
Question:
I'm looking to replace my trusty Head Palmer 120 rackets which are even/head light. Would this or the Head Graphene Touch Speed 120 Slimbody be similar? Alternatively maybe the Dunlop Hyperfibre+ Evolution Pro Nick Matthew?
Answer:
The Head Graphene Touch Speed 120 slimbody would probably be the closest alternative, but the Dunlop Hyperfibre+ Evolution Pro rackets are very popular. The Dunlop has more advanced technology for dampening vibrations and offering feel, whereas the Head racket has a more forgiving head size and shape.
Question:
what string do you recommend for an 18yr old girl wo is playing regularly but recreationally not yet competitively
Answer:
We recommend the Tecnifibre 305 green string as it offers good feel and power, and the thicker gauges offer greater durability. Alternatively the RAB sensorfibre string is also very durable and elastic for greater power.
Question:
I am a player returning to squash after a very long absence I like the look of this racket. Is it a good idea to go for the restring upgrade at time of purchase and if so what should I choose and what tension is suitable?Looking for a light racket with good power as I have a tendency to tennis elbow / shoulder problems with heavier rackets
Answer:
This is a good lightweight racket, ideal for beginners and intermediates. This racket is strung in Head Perfect Power which is a good string, however if you did want to go for a restring upgrade we would suggest the Tecnifibre 305 green string at a lower tensions, eg 24/25lbs, to help produce power.
Question:
Hi, I've been playing with this racket for two months and I'm very satisfied, but I feel it's time for restringing. Which brand would you recommend?
Answer:
Our most popular string is the Tecnifibre 305 green string as it offers good power, but if you are looking for more control the Ashaway strings have better grip on the ball.
Question:
Hi my 10year old son plays competitive squash and needs a new racket. Would you recommend this one? He is looking for a racket that will help him retrieve the ball from the back wall and scoop it to the front?
Answer:
Yes this racket would be a good choice, it is light weight for easy manoeuvrability but still able to generate power.

With stylish new matt black finish. Our new HEAD exclusive squash racket incorporates Flexpoint technology - a precisely engineered hole at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions on the racket head. Accompanying each hole is a dimple in the frame to reduce beam width. Both the hole and the dimple are designed to make the racket more flexible in the upper hoop so that racket will cup the ball. HEAD states that this increased flex and cupping of the ball results in a longer dwell time (duration of time the ball is in contact with the racket) allowing the player greater control and more feel. HEAD also claims that the Flexpoint rackets result in more accurate hitting due to the cupping effect of the racket.

Unfortunately, I found this racket way too light for my playing style. That said it was decent enough for the power and long strokes but I struggled with drop shots using this racket and required a lot of adjustments from me. The reason for the one star is a caught it only very slightly on the side wall during a boast and the frame cracked to a point that it isn’t usable in a proper match. So unfortunately it’s been a waste of money from my end!

Really pleased with this racket. It's so light and easy on the wrist. I can get almost anything out of the back corners now. I added ashaway powernick strings and get plenty of power and control is really good. I have bought more expensive rackets before, but this, for my style, of play is perfect. My new racket of choice.

I bought two of these rackets from PDH back in August. I am not a fan of anything below 130g but wanted the lightest racket I could handle for the World Record 38+ hours. Great power and even better touch a real surprise. Both still going strong. Worth a try.

This is a great racket. I am an advanced squash player and i find this racket extremely responsive. Lets you hit balls really tight against the wall, picking shots from the back of the corner has never been so effortless, control is phenomenal and drops are even sharper. Highly recommendable.
