Questions and answers

Question:
I bought two Wilson Hammer Lite 120g from you. Do you stock this racket still? It has a grey/charcoal shaft with a yellow mid section on the frame, if not I need a third racket to compliment the other two in likeness, would you suggest the Wilson Hyper 120g?
Answer:
This racket would be the closest replacement to Wilson Hammer Lite 120 Carbon Black as it has very similar specification, just an alternative colourway.
Question:
What tension are these rackets brought out at by Wilson when they come new?
Answer:
We generally estimate around 24lbs but it can be affected by many factors.

With hammer technology (ie the weight is situated towards the head of the racket) making it easy to control.

The Hyper Hammer 120 has a slightly fanned out stringing system which keeps the strings closer together throughout the racket face in order to improve control and create a large sweet spot.

This racket comes pre-strung and with a head cover. PDH opinion “An easy racket to pick up and use straight away with a good balance of control and power for a great price”

Amazing racket! In my opinion, Wilson rackets are the best and this one is the best Wilson racket. Very maneuvrable and powerfull. I can not use an other racket anymore.

From the curvature of the racket face, it will be superb for an attacking player to carry out a lot of maneuverability, touch and control; without any exception a lot of power as well. It will be good for a volley to really unsettle your opponent. It bet you this will be a best buy.

This is my second racket, and its brilliant I have not used it a huge amount but i can already see the difference. I feel so much more confident in my ability to play different shots that i wouldn't normally play, possibly due the head size. The weight is different but does not feel uncomfortable and at the price i cant complain its perfect and the video reviews helped with my decision to buy this racket.

This was the second racket i ever owned, and compared to my first one it was leagues apart. It had a much better overall feel balance and movement through the air, it also generated a lot more power. I had to change the strings after about 4 months as they started fraying, and the rim cracked after around 5 months of use but it did get quite a couple of severe hits. However overall i think its a great overall racket racket and with some more care from the player i'm sure it would last longer than it did for me.

Living in Australia doesn't leave me with many options for rackets. When I found PDHsports I found the video reviews and description of the Hammer120 to be really useful in making my decision. I have used the racket for 4 months now and it is a really great beginners racket. Originally a bit apprehensive about the head heavy nature but it has become really big part of my game and I much prefer it over my friends balanced racket.
