Asics shoes tend to be a normal to slightly narrower fit. We have never stock this model so unfortunately would not be able to comment on a similar model but the Asics Gel Tactic is a very popular model.

Unfortunately there is no direct replacement for the Asics Gel Fastball, the closest models would be the Tactic or the Blade.

Could the ASICS gel tactic 12 be used for outdoor hard court tennis, and indoor squash? I do both, and want good cushioning, but also good traction indoors and outdoors

Unfortunately these shoes are designed for indoor use only. For the best traction on both courts you would need to purchase Tennis and Squash shoes separately.
