The Rival 2 has a reinforced mesh upper for maximum breathability with a KPU rubber material around the toe box to protect the shoes, plus a padded tongue for additional comfort. The gum rubber sole features Salming's Hexagrip pattern for unrivalled grip on indoor surfaces. The EVA midsole provides comfort whilst adding minimal weight to the shoe.
As with all Salming indoor shoes, the Rival 2 features the Torsion Guide System known as TGS 62/75™. The distance from heel to the ball of the foot (62% of the shoe) has been designed with extra stability, which ends in the so-called ”ballet” line, a 75° angle. In front of the 75° line, the shoe has greater flexibility to stimulate the foot’s natural movements.
